Accounts Payable Manager Job Description

This role seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team at Page Personnel Finance in Bedford. As a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, you will be responsible for providing critical support and streamlining processes to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Accounts Payable Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the AP department, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor reconciliation.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely communication regarding payment schedules and discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Similar previous role and adopted experience
  • Proven team leading involvement
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Superb analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
