In this role, you will serve as a key data authority for our innovative data platform, collaborating closely with both business users and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and clarify their data needs, documenting these requirements at an appropriate level. Once finalized, convert these into actionable stories and tasks for the development team.
  • Leverage your specialized knowledge of business products and systems to ensure the design of effective and innovative technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance colleagues to facilitate thorough testing of system changes.
  • Organize and lead requirements gathering sessions, including workshops and one-on-one interviews.
  • Conduct system prototype demonstrations to confirm and validate requirements.
  • Support the digital product manager in prioritizing business requirements effectively.

Qualifications:

You should consider applying if you possess:
  • A solid grasp of business analysis principles, methodologies, and practices within an IT context.
  • Experience in the General and London Market Insurance domains.
  • Proven ability to define data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • A strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to influence and drive improvements in processes and application quality.
  • Experience with Greenfield Data Warehouse projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar agile project management tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to utilize SQL tools for data retrieval and analysis.
