We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our client's team in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational safety and health, with experience in creating safety programs, conducting plant audits, and training employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular plant audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
- Train employees on safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead efforts to improve safety and environmental compliance, including developing and implementing corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with management and employees to identify and address safety and environmental concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in occupational safety and health.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address safety and environmental concerns.
