Cera Care is a leading provider of home care services, and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Runcorn. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medication and monitoring clients' medication regimens.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, as well as assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their well-being and quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care work, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work schedules and tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, including health and safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, for travel to clients' homes and other locations.
