Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Design Specialist to work on a contract basis at our customer's site in a remote location.
Role Details:
- Job Title: Design Specialist / Drafter
- Contract Length: 6 months+
- Location: Remote
- Contract Type: PAYE via Umbrella solution
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop simple design solutions from requirements through concept design to detailed design.
- Interpret customer requirements and plan standard design processes.
- Produce output using CAD software and represent the department on a technical basis at meetings.
- Provide technical advice and assistance on request and assist design staff in the output of designs.
- Process designs through design authorization and technical checking of drawings.
- Adhere to the Assystem Quality System and site process in design activities.
- Act in accordance with the Company's policy on Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Equal Opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HNC or equivalent qualification and/or completed an apprenticeship in the related discipline.
- 12 months relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work, the successful candidate must be a UK national or in MoD-approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
