About the Role

Kier Group is seeking a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the southern region. As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of our internal MEP business, working on projects across various sectors.

Location: Basingstoke. Travel to sites in the Hampshire and Surrey regions will be required.

Contract: Permanent – Full Time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial resources for assigned projects to maximize planned gross margin through contract and subcontract placement and control.
  • Comply with procurement strategies set out from the beginning of the project.
  • Valuate and measure change, advise on legal and contractual matters, and valuate project and subcontract progress.
  • Undertake procurement activities, including subcontract inquiries, tender reviews, and order production.
Requirements
  • Qualified in Quantity Surveying or have relevant experience.
  • Experience in the MEP space with a sound understanding of MEP surveying and systems.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of main forms of contract, such as JCT and NEC.
