About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) professional to join our team at Linsco Ltd. as an EHS Consultant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning and promotion of health, safety, environment, and quality programs across our gas division, working on a range of projects and supporting other utilities divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Program Management
    • Support the development and implementation of HSEQ programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Communication and Engagement
    • Engage with operational staff to promote HSEQ awareness and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Communicate HSEQ information and updates to stakeholders, including management and employees.
  • Audit and Compliance
    • Conduct regular site, compound, and CDM audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Identify and report on any non-compliances or areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Training
    • Support the development and maintenance of HSEQ documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
    • Identify and recommend training needs for employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Specialist Advice and Support
    • Provide specialist advice on HSEQ matters, including company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Support managers in identifying and addressing HSEQ risks and non-compliances.
  • Disciplinary Procedures
    • Recommend disciplinary procedures where employees fail to discharge their HSEQ responsibilities.
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard).
    • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
    • NRSWA (SWQR).
    • Proficient in data analysis and compiling reports.
    • Competent in core standard Microsoft software.
