We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in the Aseptic Production Unit, dispensing high-quality systemic anticancer therapy items and parenteral nutrition to adults and neonatal patients.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense high-quality medication to patients in need
- Work closely with the oncology/haematology pharmacists and dieticians to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in the Scottish national aseptic audit programme to maintain and improve quality standards
- Develop and implement effective project management and change management strategies
- Collaborate with the ADU team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- GPhC registered pharmacist with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Desirable experience in project management and change management
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
