Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in the Aseptic Production Unit, dispensing high-quality systemic anticancer therapy items and parenteral nutrition to adults and neonatal patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense high-quality medication to patients in need
  • Work closely with the oncology/haematology pharmacists and dieticians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the Scottish national aseptic audit programme to maintain and improve quality standards
  • Develop and implement effective project management and change management strategies
  • Collaborate with the ADU team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
Requirements
  • GPhC registered pharmacist with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Desirable experience in project management and change management
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
