Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious pharmacist to join our Oncology Pharmacy Team at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. The successful candidate will be part of a team committed to providing specialist cancer services for NHS Highland as part of the North Cancer Alliance (NCA).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services in oncology and haematology, including cancer clinical trials services and the electronic chemotherapy prescribing system (Chemocare).
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the Raigmore weekend and out of hours service and public holiday rotas.
- Develop a breadth of experience across pharmacy oncology and haematology services.
Requirements
- GPhC registered pharmacist with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and participate in the Raigmore weekend and out of hours service and public holiday rotas.
- Committed to developing a role in cancer services, with full support and training provided for those with limited or no prior experience in cancer care.

Working Hours
NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff.
