Job Title: Learning Mentor

Location: West London

Pay: £90 to £105 - Full-Time/ Term Time Only

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team at a secondary school in West London. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the personal and academic development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and targeted support to students, focusing on their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop personalized support plans.
  • Work closely with the pastoral team and other staff members to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting student well-being and progress.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of students' needs and challenges, and adapt your approach accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in mentoring and student support, and contribute to the development of our team's expertise.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in mentoring, counseling, or youth work would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond to the varying needs and challenges of students.
