We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Education and Engagement Specialist. As part of our commitment to providing high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people, we are looking for someone who shares our values and is dedicated to making a positive impact.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Fresh Start in Education, a national specialist provider of academic, emotional, and social support for students aged 5 – 25 who are struggling with or cannot access education. As an Education and Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering our programs and services, working closely with our team to inspire hope and confidence in our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality educational programs and activities to support the academic and emotional needs of our students.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective support plans for our students.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our programs and services, ensuring they are tailored to meet the needs of our students.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £25 - £35 per hour.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' professional experience working with vulnerable children or young people.
  • Demonstrate an excellent and creative delivery of numeracy and literacy (as well as other subjects).
  • Share our company's core values and commitment to the protection, safeguarding, and wellbeing of children and young people.
