About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Buying to join our senior leadership team at Douglas and Grahame Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our product and buying strategy across several of our brands.

With a strong background in senior positions within the fashion industry, preferably in menswear, you will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving commercial growth. Your excellent commercial and analytical skills, combined with your ability to communicate and align teams to strategy and vision, will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of the product and buying strategy for several of our brands
  • Accountable for the achievement of revenue and margin objectives
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape
  • Input to the sourcing strategy, ensuring the suitability of the supply chain
  • Oversee the seasonal buying and production programming with the buying team
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of direct reports
Requirements
  • Experience working in senior positions within the fashion industry, preferably in menswear
  • Strong demonstrable buying experience
  • Excellent commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and align teams to strategy and vision
  • Ability to work and thrive in a passionate, energetic and performance-driven environment
