We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Public Affairs Officer to join our team at Hft. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our public policy and advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor parliamentary activity, consultations, and policy developments to inform Hft's campaign and communications activity.
  • Establish and strengthen Hft's relationship with politicians, policymakers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Use public insight to inform integrated campaigns that raise awareness of critical issues and the needs of people with learning disabilities.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, with a core understanding of UK political systems and processes.
  • Provide strategic advice on key reputational and media issues to influence our campaigns and help build our voice of authority.
