We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join our team at Guidant Global. As a pivotal player in our forward-thinking organization, you will be responsible for harnessing cutting-edge technology to drive change and propel the UK towards its ambitious net-zero targets.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the IT backlog is maintained, prioritized, and aligned to business needs, with EPICs and User Stories developed and accepted by the IT scrum teams.
- Align with Business Product Managers and the Release Manager to coordinate deliverables and releases, ensuring an optimal outcome for the organization at all times.
- Define the Metering, Energy Industry interaction, and Billing or Customer Engagement products in collaboration with key stakeholders and socialize with the teams.
- Be the Technical expert in IT for Metering, Energy Industry interaction, and Billing or Customer Engagement functions.
- Evolving the Billing & Customer Care IT product roadmap based on customer, product teams, and business feedback linked to business outcomes.
- Ensure that SSE IT has appropriate knowledge and technical coverage of the solution components.
- Work with portfolio governance team to define any funding and investment requirements to continue Product enhancement and growth.
- Oversee platform product priorities, resource requirements, and development stages.
- Ensure that Vendor teams are delivering to contractual obligations and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Anticipating the organization's needs, managing the product backlog, and prioritizing needs based on value delivered.
- Experience as a Product Owner delivering platform capabilities, where you've exemplified and promoted Agile values and principles.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics to support either the Metering, Energy Industry Interaction & Billing or Customer Engagement functions of UMAX.
- Relevant experience in an Energy utility and/or experience of utility billing platforms.
- Experience of managing vendor relationships.
- Ability to provide information in a logical and consistent manner and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in environments that are undergoing change, working in an iterative and adaptive manner.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
- Strong demonstrated experience of agile processes and principles.
- Experience with defining and prioritizing a portfolio of work.
- Ability to negotiate requirements, timelines, and other delivery metrics across product lifecycle.
