About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for children and families
  • Work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care
  • Contribute to a culture of family-centered care, promoting patient and family engagement

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse part 8 or 15 of the register
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Statutory and mandatory training
  • Awareness of Health Board Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Nursing
  • EPLS/APLS/PALS WNB 998 or equivalent
  • Awareness of Clinical Governance
  • Governance Awareness of topical issues in health and social care

Language Skills
