Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Samsic UK. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and courteous welcome.
  • Manage all security systems and equipment, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular site patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, taking prompt and effective action to resolve the situation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to client queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of security efforts.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance security knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a high level of service to clients.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Basic computer literacy, with the ability to use security software and systems.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to prepare reports and records.
  • Good observation skills, with the ability to identify and respond to potential security risks.
  • Flexible attitude, with the ability to work varying shifts and respond to emergencies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
  • Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Five-year checkable history, with a HMRC 3 Year Work History record.
