Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our Ultrasound team in Bristol. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting our Sonographers as they carry out Ultrasound scanning procedures. This is a full-time permanent position, working 5 days out of 7, Monday-Sunday.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure.
  • Escort patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally.
  • Complete the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form.
  • Assess and monitor the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately.
  • Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system.
  • Dealing with telephone, direct, and face-to-face enquiries.
