We are seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our Ultrasound team in Bristol, working in our new Community Diagnostic Centre. As a Clinical Assistant, you will provide exceptional patient care, assisting our Sonographers with Ultrasound scanning procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in a professional and courteous manner, coordinating their arrival and departure.
- Escort patients to and from the clinical area, explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Complete patient pre-scan data protection and consent forms.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions after procedures, reporting any changes to relevant staff.
- Accurately enter patient data into the patient management system.
- Handle telephone, direct, and face-to-face enquiries.
About You
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing professional personality.
- Passion for delivering high-level customer service.
- Good understanding of health and safety, and infection control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.
- Strong administration and IT skills.
