The Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Electrical Technician to join our busy electrical and events teams. As an Event Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of high-performance wiring harnesses and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical support on global motorsport programmes, including fault diagnosis, repairs, and replacement of wiring harnesses and electrical components.
  • Carry out extensive pre-event checks on high-performance competition vehicles.
  • Maintain our event spares package.
  • Create post-event reports to provide feedback to our Engineering team.
  • Work alongside our Electrical Supervisor and Engineering team on technical issues and suggestions for improvement.
  • Build and test wiring harnesses from technical drawings.
Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You should have previous experience in building wiring harness looms from engineering drawings and be skilled in all elements of electrical assembly, including crimping and soldering.

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality while working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

You should have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for problem-solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.

Previous experience within motorsport is preferred but not essential.What We Offer
