**THE ROLE**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator to join our ever-growing team in our Fabrications Department. The role will cover workload on a range of our projects and products. The role also offers the opportunity for worldwide travel to motorsport events.

**The role and responsibilities include**:

- Fabrication and welding of components in thin gauge steels and aluminium.
- Setting up and operating fabrication workshop machinery - Guillotines/ Presses/ Folders.
- Cutting and shaping materials using grinders/ oxy fuel/ plasma processes.
- Fabricating jigs and fixtures.
- Preparation and assembly of parts for WRC events and other motorsport programmes.
- Fabrication and welding repairs of plant equipment/ trucks/ trailers.
- Working closely with Designers and Senior Fabricators with development work.

**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

You should obtain a Level 3 certificate or equivalent qualification in Fabrication and Welding.

Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.

You should be well organised, and delivery focused, with a strong analytical approach and meticulous attention to detail.

At least 2 years previous experience working in a Fabrication Workshop would be advantageous.

You should have the ability to undertake fabrication and welding tasks with minimum guidance.

You should have excellent communication and relationship building skills.
