Mobile Service Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Service Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our powered access equipment at customer sites and in our depot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products
  • Complete all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures
  • Refurbish equipment and products as necessary
  • Promote teamwork between colleagues to ensure effective workshop performance
  • Liaise with team members to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs
  • Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times
  • Maintain and update service records and daily worksheets
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work
  • Represent the company and values of the business in a professional and business-like manner
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with relevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience gained within the plant rental sector. You should have experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding. You should also have good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
