Job Summary

Thornhvac Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Bradford. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for designing and developing air handling solutions, including product research and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop air handling solutions, including product R&D
  • Take a project from order stage and develop the design
  • Work closely with internal engineers, CAD team, and customers to ensure application and selection of equipment align with specifications
  • Ongoing review of project designs to push to manufacturing team for production and creation of full bill of materials
  • Act as a technical specialist to resolve on-site or commissioning queries related to design or technical issues

Requirements

  • Strong background in HVAC design, preferably in air handling units
  • Experience working in an HVAC manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience as a Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Design Manager, or Applications/PreSales/Estimator
  • Commercially strong with ability to be client-facing and lead design phase
  • Degree in mechanical or engineering subject preferred but not essential

Benefits

Basic salary up to c£55k with excellent company benefits, including 25 days holiday
