About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at Thornhvac. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative Air Handling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop project specifications for Air Handling solutions, including product R&D.
  • Work closely with internal engineers, CAD team, and customers to ensure equipment selections meet project specifications.
  • Review and refine project designs, collaborating with the manufacturing team to create full bills of materials.
  • Provide technical support for on-site and commissioning queries, resolving design and technical issues as needed.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer with a strong background in HVAC design, preferably in Air Handling units. Experience in allied markets such as fans, extract, or chilled water/heat pumps will also be considered. Previous experience in an HVAC manufacturing environment is essential, with a degree in a mechanical/engineering subject preferred but not essential.

What We Offer

Basic salary up to c£55k, with excellent company benefits, including 25 days holiday. Based out of our Bradford office, with some home working offered.
