About the Role

The primary responsibility of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to help turn leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with marketing and sales to create and execute on inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop opportunities from prospecting and marketing generated leads.
  • Interact with prospects to build relationships and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Provide high-level product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives.
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including research and analysis of target accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using industry best practices.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.
  • Disseminate opportunities to appropriate account managers, educating them as necessary about the opportunity.

Requirements

  • GCSE (or equivalent) with passes in English and Maths.
  • Tertiary education desirable.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in lead generation and sales development, inside sales and/or sales.
  • Experience in Information Technology desirable.
  • Experience in the Cyber Security industry would be a strong plus.
  • Experience using or comparable CRM desirable.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of IT, Information Security, and/or Cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of SDR and lead development best practices and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to make cold-calls to prospects.
  • Able to maintain high outbound call volumes.
  • Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process.
  • Able to multitask and keep on top of administration.

  • Limited travel needed.
