Job Overview

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator/Project Manager to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing project schedules, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate work packages to schedule, track progress vs schedule, and plan resources.
  • Review and approve sub-contractor programs.
  • Interface with stakeholders to identify and report on progress, changes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to proposals relating to manhour estimates and planning.
  • Produce concise, accurate reports of project metrics, including critical path analysis.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Project.
  • Good communication skills to provide clear, concise, and accurate summaries of project progress, risks, and metrics.
  • Ability to engage with sub-contractors and critically review the accuracy of sub-contractor submissions.
  • Experience as a project planner on NEC4 Contracts, particularly Option A and Option C.
  • Major infrastructure design and build project background highly desirable.
  • Experience of working in the Nuclear or Defence Industry highly desirable.
  • Primavera P6 training.
  • Project Management qualification (e.g. APM) would be beneficial.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria (Sole British National) to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
