This is a role where you will truly make your mark as you will play a leading role in the ongoing Project Controls modernisation change programme and the development of its enhanced capability, as well as leading the steady state organisation.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- You will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the Planning discipline across the Maritime & Land sector
- The design, leadership, team building and maintenance of the Programme Controls schedule management organisation
- Ensuring that Planning governance and review arrangements are applied in line Maritime and Corporate requirements
- Ensure that all planning duties are conducted by SQEP individuals in accordance with competence frameworks
- Guiding the provision of independent evaluation of performance and reporting across the sector
- Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of planning as a capability centre for the sector.
- Guide and coach senior programme and project management colleagues to develop their capability, acting as “thought leader” on planning
**Your skills and experiences**:
- PM&C experience demonstrated in a managerial role within a significant business or programme
- Extensive, expert level understanding of a range of PM&C tools techniques and practices
- Extensive, expert level knowledge of the PM&C capability landscape including with Professional institutions
- Extensive, expert level understanding of the Business environment for Line of Business or project
- Extensive, expert level knowledge and experience of PM&C governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and as Assessor of Planning, Monitoring & Control (PM&C) aspects at Lifecycle Management (LCM) Reviews
- Extensive experience of influencing stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
