Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at BAE Systems - Govan. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using various techniques and tools.
  • Mark out and cut metal sheets and plates to precise specifications.
  • Use grinders and associated consumables to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Experience in use of strong-backs and fairing aids to prevent distortion.

Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 or Apprenticeships in a relevant field.
  • Strong background in shipbuilding or heavy industry.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
