Yourgene Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing and scheduling of materials to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize Stock Levels: Aid in the optimization of stock levels of key components and finished goods to ensure they are maintained within agreed levels.
  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Purchase Order Management: Generate Purchase Orders to replenish stock and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production activities.
  • ERP Data Management: Maintain the ERP database with key parameters related to production portfolio, supplier lead times, order acknowledgments, and reschedule dates.
  • Cost and Quality Management: Achieve best cost/quality and compliance at all times, ensuring that materials are sourced and scheduled in a way that meets business objectives.
  • Delivery and Scheduling: Ensure achievable delivery of materials to support production activities by processing order confirmations and expediting at regular intervals.
  • Work Order Release and Scheduling: Support the release and scheduling of work orders to production, ensuring that materials are available when needed.
  • Schedule Monitoring and Risk Identification: Monitor and update schedule dates on the ERP system, identifying risks to the scheduled plan and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide ad-hoc support to supply chain activities as required, ensuring that deadlines and priorities are met.
  • Best Practice and Continuous Improvement: Support and promote best practice and continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain team.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate and respond to stakeholders' queries, ensuring that their needs are met and that communication is clear and effective.
