Building Services Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team at Reed Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our projects, ensuring their successful progression and adherence to engineering standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects to stay within budget and schedule, overseeing drawing production, schematics, and engineering calculations.
- Produce schematics and details in AutoCAD/Revit, adhering to engineering standards and regulations.
- Conduct engineering calculations and support project reviews for quality compliance.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and maintain knowledge of engineering standards.
- Solve engineering problems by seeking additional information from relevant sources.
- Attend client meetings and workshops confidently.
- Provide line management and support to the mechanical/electrical team.
- Monitor team performance and address issues with directors or HR.
- Ensure continued professional development and manage health and safety effectively.
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering (mechanical/electrical).
- Minimum 5 years of practical design experience in building services engineering.
- High-level working knowledge of CAD/Revit.
- Familiarity with UK mechanical/electrical design standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Flexible and resilient with a 'can do' attitude.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel (desirable).
