Proactive Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a prominent manufacturing organization.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, sustaining, and executing both manual and automated quality assurance tests.

This role involves close collaboration with software developers, project managers, and various stakeholders throughout the testing and development phases.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct system testing on proprietary products. Assess functionality, usability, performance, and reliability of all software and hardware applications.
Analyze and comprehend specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create effective and pertinent test plans.
Execute exploratory and candidate release testing.
Identify, replicate, document, and update issues as necessary.
Organize and facilitate trials at designated facilities.

Utilize technical expertise to support specific customer scenarios, including the installation of new or specialized systems, providing hands-on training, demonstrations, and trials of new systems to prospective clients.

Occasionally participate in out-of-hours engineering support duties on a rotational basis with other engineers, offering specialized assistance regarding system and software inquiries.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and other departments.

Experience with various testing methodologies, including System Testing, Functional Testing, Exploratory Testing, Automated Testing, Compatibility Testing, Regression Testing, Reliability Testing, and Usability Testing.

Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevOps, and Continuous Integration (CI). Familiarity with lifecycle management software such as Jira.
