Position Overview

  • Engage in gameplay and assessment of video games to verify linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.
  • Generate comprehensive bug documentation utilizing industry-standard tracking systems.
  • Work in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that identified issues are rectified effectively.
  • Assume responsibility for test scenarios and actively contribute to the testing phases of projects.
  • Spot potential areas for enhancements and increased efficiency in processes.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in German coupled with a strong command of English.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for video games and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with the MS Office Suite.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Linguistic Quality Assurance, translation, or proofreading.
  • Acquaintance with LQA testing tools and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.
  • Awareness of current trends within the video game industry.
  • A degree in linguistics is advantageous.
