We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Consultant to join our team at Version 1. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial systems solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis: Define business requirements, run workshops, conduct business analysis, and provide input to system specifications.
- Process Documentation: Document business processes to ensure clarity and understanding.
- System Configuration: Plan, design, and test interfaces and reports for complex financial systems.
- Consulting and Support: Consult with users, technology liaisons, applications support personnel, and developers to research solutions and provide functional/application support.
- System Implementation: Gather location requirements, perform system configuration, setup, site reviews, support prototype and integrated systems testing, Key and End User training, go live activities, and post-go-live support.
- Project Support: Provide functional/application support for project-related activities in accordance with the project methodology.
- Knowledge Management: Adhere to Version 1 standards and policies, assist in the support and training of fellow colleagues, and remain product knowledge current.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years' experience in ERP implementations, upgrades, and knowledge and experience with multiple financial modules, with experience of at least 1 full upgrade or implementation project lifecycle.
- Skills: Strong financial systems skills, with other areas such as distribution modules desirable. Experience in financial systems 9.2 user experience (UX), pages, and UDOs.
- Education: A background in accountancy.
- Personal Qualities: Strong desire for service excellence, able to identify and solve problems, passion for service improvement, innovative thinker, able to turn customer requirements into workable solutions, flexible but methodical and thorough approach, excellent organizational and analytical skills, process-oriented, strong business process knowledge, able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, excellent time management skills, able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels (internal & external), excellent spoken and written English, able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
