We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategic Housing Service as a Housing Policy Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that will provide new affordable homes across the Borough.
Key Responsibilities- Assess housing need and demand to develop affordable housing policy.
- Research modern methods of construction, low-cost home ownership, custom and self-build, community led housing and urban regeneration frameworks.
- Liaise with partners from Housing Associations and developers to Government Departments, estate agents and households seeking affordable housing.
- Work closely with the team to develop innovative mechanisms to deliver homes of the right type, quality and cost in the right locations.
