Senior Lecturer in Dermatology

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment within our dermatology and skin lesion management programs. This will include module leadership, designing engaging teaching activities, setting and marking assessments, and providing constructive feedback to students.
As a project supervisor, you will work with students to develop their research skills and provide academic and pastoral support as a personal tutor. You will also contribute to the planning and development of curriculum content, ensuring it remains current and relevant to the field of dermatology and skin cancer.
Skills and Experience RequiredTo be successful in this role, you will need to have substantial experience in dermatology and/or skin cancer, with evidence of current clinical practice. You will also require experience of collaborative working in multidisciplinary settings and public speaking and/or teaching experience.
You must possess breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in dermatology and/or skin lesions and skin cancer, as well as knowledge and understanding of UK national guidance in relation to these areas. An appreciation of the educational needs of students and cultural awareness are also essential.
Qualifications RequiredTo be considered for this position, you must hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline and a postgraduate qualification in Dermatology and/or Skin Lesion Management or significant experience. You must also be a member of the relevant UK regulatory/professional body.
