About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Trescal Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our departments, meeting key performance indicators, and driving business growth.

Your primary focus will be on managing the calibration and repair activity within our branch, training, coaching, and mentoring our engineering teams to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calibration and repair activity to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
  • Train, coach, and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality service
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
Requirements
  • Technical qualifications such as degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
  • Extensive calibration knowledge and UKAS certification
  • Proven experience in performance management and change management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
