Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
About the Role:
Home Instead Westminster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients with learning disabilities and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate community engagement and participation, promoting social inclusion and independence.
- Assist with meal preparation, encouraging clients to participate and maintain their dietary needs.
- Support clients with household tasks and upkeep, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Administer medication, following established protocols and procedures.
- Accompany clients on outings and activities, promoting social interaction and enjoyment.
- Coordinate and attend medical appointments, ensuring clients receive necessary care and support.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver high-quality care.
