Thorn Baker Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Designer/CDM Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that values training and development, and is committed to investing in their employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to clients on CDM duties and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and submit F10s, design risk management plans, and health and safety files.
  • Liaise with design teams to identify key hazards and ensure effective risk management.
  • Collate pre-construction information and ensure ongoing exchange of health and safety information with the construction team.
  • Prepare construction phase health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct site health and safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience within the construction industry, with a focus on design risk management and CDM.
  • PD/CDM professional qualifications and excellent communication skills.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate are desirable.
  • A full driving licence and own transport are essential for travel to client sites.
