About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner to join our dynamic podiatry team in the Eastern locality. The successful candidate will provide foot care treatment and health education under the guidance of a podiatrist, working flexibly across multiple sites to meet the needs of the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide foot care treatment and health education to patients under the guidance of a podiatrist.
  • Run independent clinics or assist in specialist areas such as ulcer or surgical clinics.
  • Work collaboratively with the podiatry team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of the podiatry service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
