About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding and Wellbeing Manager to uphold our values and contribute to the creation of healthy, safe environments for gymnasts across Wales.


This role will support the Executive Director of Safeguarding in managing safeguarding cases and driving continual improvements in safeguarding practices across clubs and leisure centers.


The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and wellbeing are maintained, and will work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safeguarding cases and incidents
  • Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support to staff and volunteers
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidelines
