The Role: Neuro Occupational Therapist - Part-Time
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals recovering from brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct clinical care, encompassing holistic assessment, treatment, review, and management of clients with physical, cognitive, and psychological impairments resulting from acquired brain injury.
- Ensure appropriate pathways of care and communication through liaison and referrals to other agencies as required.
- Work autonomously as a registered practitioner, maintaining accurate records and managing your caseload effectively.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement rehabilitation goals for each patient.
- Supervise junior Occupational Therapy staff, assistants, and students, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Offer specialist advice to other healthcare professionals, carers, and family members.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining and improving clinical standards in accordance with national and regional guidelines.
- Registered Occupational Therapist with relevant experience in neuro rehabilitation.
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in IT applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development through clinical practice and formal education.
- A clean driving license is required for use of company wheelchair accessible vehicles.
