We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our global event operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our must-attend global conference portfolio, in-person programs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development, management, and execution of various conference elements relating to logistics and production.
- Work closely with the Conference Manager to plan, organize, and execute event logistics from initial stages of development through on-site and conference wrap-up.
- Manage the shipment of all freight to onsite conferences and book and arrange for temporary staff to support the event.
- Support the Conference Manager with venue management, including rooms, meeting facilities, F&B, and housing.
- Communicate and collaborate across Conference Production cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of first-class events and experiences.
- Manage event budgets for Client Experience activities, including preparation, negotiations, accurate monthly forecasts, and alerting management for risks and recommendations for corrective action.
- Project management and/or end-to-end event management and delivery to senior level clients.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, especially with senior level professionals, cross-functionally and with agency partners.
- Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong financial management skills.
