Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is representing a prestigious and independent Lloyd's Broker renowned in the London Market, currently in search of a Head of Aviation/Broker to spearhead and expand their Aviation accounts.

This esteemed organization, part of a larger group, has been operational for over two decades, specializing in delivering innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their esteemed global partners and clientele. Their areas of expertise encompass Property, Casualty, Professional and Financial Lines, Construction, Special Risks, Cargo, and Aviation, among others.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for either a current Head of/Director or a Senior Broker eager to advance, manage existing accounts, and develop the portfolio while eventually establishing a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management of existing Worldwide Aviation accounts
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and partners to ensure annual account renewals
  • Foster new client and underwriter relationships
  • Proactively seek to expand the portfolio with a commercially driven approach
  • Collaborate closely with the Broker Support Team to guarantee timely and precise market documentation
  • Place intricate Aviation risks within the London Market Insurance
  • Opportunity to travel internationally and cultivate new relationships
  • Eventually build and lead a dedicated team

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Lloyd's Broking
  • Expertise in Aviation insurance/reinsurance risks
  • Strong client-facing and market engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation abilities with a commercially focused mindset
