About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco Rotherham Wath-Upon-Dearne Extra. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail leadership role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to improve store performance.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
