Job Description

Job Title: Co-Headteacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Co-Headteacher to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional leadership and strategic direction to our school, upholding our ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the school, ensuring the highest educational standards for all pupils.
  • Foster a culture of high expectations, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Lead the implementation of a creative and engaging curriculum, supporting both academic and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, governors, and the wider community to ensure the best outcomes for our children.
  • Maintain and develop a safe, inclusive, and enriching school environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of successful senior leadership experience within a primary school.
  • A commitment to continued professional development and a passion for lifelong learning.
  • Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to lead with integrity, inspiration, and creativity.
  • Ability to work effectively in partnership with our existing headteacher, staff, governors, parents, and the local community.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
