Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth through strategic sales planning, account management, and sales execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners across the grocery sector, maximizing sales opportunities, and contributing to the company's overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional retail accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Manage P&L for customer account, including developing accurate sales forecasts and regularly reporting on sales performance, market trends, and account activities.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to retail partners to ensure a strong understanding of our product offerings and unique selling points.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional programs and materials to support sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful account management and sales growth in the grocery sector.
- Strong relationships with key retail partners and a deep understanding of the customer acquisition process.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
