About the Role

The Centre for Progressive Change is seeking two experienced professionals to fill the positions of Regional Campaign Strategist and North West Advocacy Lead. These roles will be responsible for developing and implementing campaign strategies to influence policy change at the national level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to engage cross-party MPs in the North West region in support of our campaigns.
  • Utilize advocacy, community organizing, and mobilizing techniques to build relationships with key stakeholders and influence policy decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key organizations and businesses in the region to secure their support for our campaigns.
  • Conduct regular listening campaigns to gather feedback from constituents and inform our campaign strategy.
  • Develop and manage a regional budget to support campaign activities.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop staff to support campaign efforts.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of winning regional campaigns and influencing policy change.
  • Excellent advocacy, mobilizing, or community organizing experience.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders in the North West region.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve campaign goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the Centre for Progressive Change's mission and values.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Expertise in community organizing.
  • Knowledge of the political landscape in the North West and key power players.
