Job Summary:

The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is a leading professional association and trade union for all school and college leaders. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Director of Member Support and Development.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Director of Member Support and Development, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Member Support in managing a team of specialist support staff. You will be responsible for developing support strategies and collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to grow and develop the Association's membership and improve member satisfaction and levels of retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective support strategies to enhance member engagement and satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and development

• Manage a team of specialist support staff to ensure effective delivery of support services

• Analyze data and metrics to inform support strategies and improve member retention

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform support strategies
