Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Corporate Oversight team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the Corporate Directorates, ensuring effective budgeting and financial management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with finance colleagues, clinical and operational leads to drive financial performance and sustainability.
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve financial objectives, prioritizing tasks and problem-solving to meet deadlines.
  • Interact with a wide stakeholder base, utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills to achieve business outcomes.
  • Challenge existing processes and propose new solutions to current problems, ensuring continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • CCAB qualified with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of budgetary control systems and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and advise accordingly.
  • Good technical working knowledge of the NHS financial regime.
Person Specification
  • Educated to masters degree level or equivalent level of experience.
  • Member of CCAB or CIMA with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
