Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to support our manufacturing business in Wallsend. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting Purchase Orders, RFQ's, and supplier documentation, as well as data cleansing, IFS data input, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Expedite Purchase Orders, RFQ's, and supplier documentation
• Review and expedite responses to RFQ's internally and externally
• Maintain IFS data, including pricing, lead times, and preferred suppliers
• Prepare and send RFQ's using existing templates and supporting tools
• Create purchase orders, obtain approvals, and expedite acknowledgement and orders to completion
• Support buyers in sending engineering drawings and files as requested
• Manage the distribution of ECO's within the team and expedite responses, liaise with stakeholders, and report on impact to the Procurement Manager
• Order and expedite PO's for the wider business
• Dress new parts and run reports to catch anomalies
• Follow all purchasing procedures

Requirements

• Ability to manage time and working requirements to ensure critical business needs are met
• Theoretical or practical knowledge of purchasing and application of Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project applications
