Pharmacist Role at OneWelbeck

OneWelbeck is a leading private day-case centre in the greater London area, offering outpatient procedural and day-case intervention work in a unique dedicated setting. We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in partnership with the Centre Director (Superintendent Pharmacist) to maintain pharmacy services and specialities.
  • Provide a patient-focused clinical pharmacy and dispensing service, ensuring safe, effective, economical, and timely pharmaceutical care.
  • Support the Centre Director in managing the work of the pharmacy team, co-ordinating operational deployment of staff, and maintaining legal and professional standards.
  • Act as the Responsible Pharmacist and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with medicines legislation and policies.
  • Undertake the duties of a dispensary pharmacist, including managing and prioritising workload, supporting other pharmacy staff with advice and decision making, and providing a clinical pharmacy service as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with local staff and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in accordance with local policy and procedures, and to record and report all pharmacy interventions.
  • Experience in managing and prioritising workload, and in providing a clinical pharmacy service.
  • Ability to seek personal opportunities for education and training, and to participate in audit of aspects of pharmacy service when required.
